Waiting on i800a approval

Sorry that it has been so long since I have posted! For the last 7 1/2 weeks it seems like at least 2-3 of us has been sick each week and we seem to keep getting a new bug and then passing it around. No fun, but it looks like we are all on the road to recovery!!

There hasn't really been much going on on the adoption front. Immigration logged in our application on Jan. 18th, we had our fingerprints done on Feb. 11th, and so we are just waiting for our approval. We called last Friday to check on things and they told us that we had not been assigned an officer yet. They will hopefully be assigning us an officer sometime this week and we are praying that he/she will processes our approval quickly.

We will be having all of our dossier documents, minus our i800a approval, authenticated soon and should have those documents back in our hands by the end of next week.

Thanks so much for your continued prayers for our family! We are so anxious and excited to get to our precious son and can't wait for the day that he will be in our arms forever!

Mello Yello

I was waiting in the car with the boys the other night as my sweet husband
ran into the grocery store to get a few items, when Hayden said
"Hey, Mom, there's cans of Mello Yello sitting out in front of the store!"
My response to him was "Really? There is no way that they have Mello Yello,
they don't sell that out here, it must be Squirt."
Well, lo and behold, my little angel was correct!!
There really was a huge display of Mello Yello!!

I moved to CA in 1993 and find it hard to believe that after 17 1 /2 years of waiting, my favorite soda of all times has finally made it's way to the grocery stores here on the West Coast!

Thank you to
and

We take a road trip in our van to Tennessee every other summer to visit family & friends,
and one of the things we always bring home with us is about 10 cases of Mello Yello.
We ration it very carefully between the boys and me in hopes that
we can make those 10 cases last for 2 years until we head to TN again.
Crazy huh!?!

Well, now there will be no more extreme measures taken to make sure that those
10 cases last for 2 years!

My sweet, awesome husband has designed 2 beautiful posters based on the verse in James 1:27 -

To visit orphans and widows in their distress,
and to keep oneself unstained by the world." (NASB)

The posters are available in 3 sizes, and are priced accordingly. They are printed on acid-free archival paper, and will be signed and dated by Steve on the back of each poster.
