Raffle for Kaden

an entry fee and a prize, such as raffles, drawings or lotteries.

Also please include with your email the following information:
1. The amount your check will be for and when you will be mailing your check.
2. The # of tickets you are purchasing and how you would like those tickets distributed.

Our goal is to reach $2,000 and you have helped us to raise $575 so far!

We are getting closer and closer to being able to travel to bring our sweet son home,
and oh boy are we getting excited!!
Our LOA (letter of approval) should be arriving soon, 
and once we receive our LOA we should be able to travel within 7-10 weeks! 


Our first raffle was a wonderful success, so we'd like to offer another raffle
to try and help raise money for some of our upcoming fees.
We have quite a few items for you to choose from - 15 to be exact, plus a give-a-way!
This raffle will be run a little differently than our first raffle 
in that you may choose which drawing each of your tickets are to be entered into.

We have this camera and absolutely love it!
We've taken this to the beach and not had to worry about the sand and salt water. We've taken it to a swimming pool and shot underwater photos and videos! This is a great camera!!

Here's how the tickets work:

We will hold a separate drawing for each of the 15 items and the give-a-way item, 

that way you have the chance to choose which item(s) you are interested in winning.

Drawing #1 will be for the Olympus Stylus Tough 8010 Camera/Video Camera

1. Buy a raffle ticket for $10 and you get 1 chance to win

2. Buy 5 raffle tickets ($50) and get 6 chances to win

3. Buy 10 raffle tickets ($100) and get 12 chances to win
4. Our goal is to sell 150 camera tickets...once we reach our goal we will then do the drawing.

Drawings #2-#15 (see above for descriptions for each item #)

1. Buy a raffle ticket for $5 and you get 1 chance to win

2. Buy 5 raffle tickets ($25) and get 6 chances to win

3. Buy 10 raffle tickets ($50) and get 12 chances to win
4. Once we sell the 150 camera tickets, we will do the drawings for these items as well.

Also, when you email us please let us know how many tickets you would like and which item #(s) you would like each of your tickets to go towards . We will send you a confirmation email within 1-2 days of receiving your payment and entry information. If you do not hear from us, your entry may not have been received; therefore, please email us so that we can double check things.

Seventeen years ago today I married 

the man of my dreams and my best friend!

One of the greatest gifts that I have ever received 

came from the Lord the day I met the most awesome, amazing man

that would soon become my husband!

LID Received!

We received notice today that we have our LID (log in date) - April 18th!!

We are getting closer and closer to bringing our precious son home!

Kaden we love you so much and can't wait for the day when we can hold you forever!

YEAHHHHHH!!

We would really love to travel by the end of June and be able to get to Kaden by my birthday,

but based on other timeframes that we have been following,

it looks like we will more than likely travel sometime between mid-July to end of August.

Please pray that we have speedy approvals for the rest of our process

and that we can travel to bring our son home really soon!

Another Birthday Boy!

Say hello to our 9-year old!!

Yes, it’s true. Our #3 son, Camden, just turned 9!

It happens every year, with every one of our boys, but it seems like only yesterday that we were bringing that little guy home from the hospital. Where did those years go? I think I had time to blink once, maybe twice. . . if I blink again, he’ll be driving off to college!

Each one of our boys is a precious and unique creation that we are so grateful to have as part of our family. So, what are some of Camden’s uniquenesses (if that’s a word)? The things that stand out are really facets of the same quality - he is passionate! What I mean by this is that he is one of those people who will take a stand and not be moved. He feels everything so intensely! There is no lukewarm in Camden!! 

Where this really shines is in his heart for God. He doesn’t just know the right answers, he BELIEVES them and STANDS upon them. He has understandings and insights that often amaze us, his parents. 

Camden will do great things for God in his life, and for this we are grateful.

So, to our passionate Camden with his burning heart for God, HAPPY BIRTHDAY "CANNIN"!!!!

We had a great time with friends at our boutique for Kaden on Saturday!

Thanks to all of our vendors and customers for helping make this event a huge success!

You were able to help us raise $420 for our sweet son!

A Hero and Champion for Orphans

Bright and early tomorrow morning, 

a Hero and Champion for Orphans - Stacy Richards, 

(Stacy and her hubby Paul)

along with 6 other amazing women 

(Ann, Tracy, Karen, Tanya, Paula and Kimberly)
will be running in the LA Marathon (26.2 miles) for Team Love Without Boundaries 

to help raise funds that will provide medical care 

for precious treasures in China.

Please keep all these ladies in your prayers.

Stacy is running for a beautiful treasure named Heather 

who is Hep B+ and in need of surgery for her cleft lip and palate.

James 1:27 - Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this:
to visit orphans and widows in their distress, 
and to keep oneself unstained by the world. (NASB) 


Psalm 68:5 - A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, 
is God in his holy dwelling. (NIV)


God's heart is for the orphans and widows of this world.
He commands us to take care of them and provide for them.
Pray and search your heart to see where God is leading you.
There are many opportunities in this world to help those in need
and so often we are too busy and turn the other cheek. 
You don't have to go far to find someone in need - 
there are folks in need in your own community, 
the state or country in which you live,
and many in foreign lands suffering from a lack of food, 
shelter, clothes, medical care and love - 
that simply need someone
to reach out and lend a helping hand.


Step out in faith and see how God can bless others through you!
You will be amazed at the blessing that you receive, 
simply by being obedient and faithful to His word!
